As of February 2009 I am working for Wright Dose Ltd. This site will be available for a while, for anyone interested in my academic work.
I was a Research Associate in ISBE (Imaging Science and Biomedical Engineering) a department within the University of Manchester. I was employed on a 3 year post doctoral research grant entitled "Cognitive Systems Foresight", until January 2009.
I was previously employed on a 2 year post doc looking into human face tracking in cars. My PhD thesis entitled "Automatic Detection of Facial Features in Grey Scale Images", was submitted in 2004 and is available from my publications page.

So far I have mainly concentrated on face detection and facial feature localisation, but my interests are in the following areas:-
